Requirements
Responsibilities
Prepare and review health and safety plans in support of engineering, remediation, risk assessment, and environmental permitting projects for the NE Region.
Assist in the development and implementation of environmental, health and safety (EHS) Policies and management systems.
Conduct environmental audits, Phase I environmental site assessments, and site EHS compliance surveys for various projects.
Support and market environmental compliance projects such as air permitting and environmental plan development.
Support and market asbestos, lead, mold, and other indoor air quality contracts.
Knowledge & Qualifications
BS degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or relevant program.
3 plus years experience in the environmental and health and safety field
Thorough understanding and knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements in the environmental consulting business
Experience in dealing with safety, health, and environmental regulatory agencies.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Experience in asbestos, lead, mold, and other indoor air quality issues a plus.
Air permitting experience, a plus.
