CIVIL ENGINEER IV - Site, Highway, Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer IV with a minimum of 10 years experience to join the growing team of professionals in our Orange, CA office. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in California are required.
Successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable and a motivated team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Candidates will possess strong technical engineering skills in various aspects of civil engineering and must have experience preparing technical engineering reports/studies with minimal supervision. Experience in preparing drainage studies is desired.
Must have knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD. Proficiency with InRoads and/or LDD is desired. Experience in preparing plans for local agencies is required. Knowledge of Caltrans design standards is desired. Experience on aspects of highway design, including drainage, grading, utilities, specifications and construction cost estimates is required.
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting. May be asked to prepare site plans, drainage, utilities, etc. for a variety of site, highways and other major infrastructure projects.
Good written and verbal communications skills are required.
